I really don't like the impression and attitude people have about My Chemical Romance and their fans (of which I consider myself) I think MCR is way better than the reputation they've been handed...but you don't see me making wikis to band together with fellow fans so we can have a little emo tear fest. When I actually care enough how others might see me/the fans/the band, I go around and actually TALK to people, find out what they think and why they think that, and work from there.
But mostly, I don't care what others think. My opinion of myself is what matters most, not what other people wanna think. People are allowed to have opinions that don't agree with mine, and they're allowed to voice that opinion to me. I WELCOME hearing another point of view, as it helps me keep my own in perspective and enables me to see and perhaps appreciate another's view of the same issue or circumstance. it's called being open-minded and accepting, in the pursuit of better knowledge and understanding. Apparently such openness and acceptance is not the case here for anyone who does not share a certain view.

Aggravating you? No, just addressing the topic at hand with my own opinion, which is well within my right, as this is a public wiki. I definitely do NOT agree with people who specifically state they do not want to hear from you if you're {insert adjective here}...I think that's very narrow-minded and elitist. I talk to anyone who messages me, and I go around and ask people who make statements as such why they say that.
